Long Cold Winter è il secondo album dei Cinderella, uscito nel 1988. Due anni dopo il folgorante esordio della band, viene pubblicato Long Cold Winter, da molti considerato il migliore, in cui emerge chiaramente la personalità Blues della band. Conferma le vendite del precedente e sarà certificato doppio platino già nel novembre 1988 e triplo platino il 23 gennaio 1997). È un album di transizione tra i toni pop metal di Night Songs e il Blues-rock dei lavori successivi. Tom Keifer, autore di tutti i brani, cita, infatti, fra le sue principali influenze Muddy Waters, B.B. King e Steve Marriott degli Humble Pie. I singoli Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone) e Coming Home fanno di quest'album il più grande successo commerciale dei Cinderella, successo confermato nel tour mondiale omonimo con ben 254 spettacoli.
