INTELLITOUCH TUNER PT2 (WHITE)

INTELLITOUCH TUNER PT2 (WHITE). Accordatore per contatto.

The PT2 "Bare Bone" Intellitouch tuner is a price breakthrough for the high end and time tested Intellitouch technology. The PT2 recalibrates between 438, 440 (the U.S. standard) and 442 (the European standard). The Intellitouch PT2 "Bare Bone" contains the same tuning technology as the PT1 but with the expensive and more professional-level features removed.

Strike the string only once and let it sustain. Repeatedly striking the string may cause the tuner to be unresponsive.
Use the fleshy part of your thumb or finger.  Do not use a pick to pluck the string.
Change the strings.  Older strings can produce more than one pitch simultaneously.
Verify that the tuner is in the correct Mode of operation.
Verify that the tuner is mounted securely to the instrument.
Verify that the soft rubber pads are installed on the two clamp surfaces.

Keep fresh batteries installed.  Weak batteries may cause the tuner not  register a note at all, or not release notes it has detected.

You can adjust the internal calibration, called the “A-reference”, that your Intellitouch
PT2  tuner uses to determine whether your instrument is in tune.  The pitch of any
note played into Intellitouch  PT-2  will be compared to the active A-reference.  You
can choose between:  440, 441, and 442 (A=440Hz, A=441Hz or A=442Hz).
1. To change the active A-reference, you will press the A-ref button.  This will advance
to the next A-reference option which will flash, indicating that A-reference option has
not yet been confirmed.
2. To confirm the flashing A-reference option, press the select button.

In order to conserve battery life, the Intellitouch  PT-2 tuner will power off in 2
minutes if it detects no incoming notes or button presses.  If the tuner is left attached to
an instrument that is being constantly played, it will detect notes and will not
automatically power off.  We recommend you press the power button to turn off the tuner.

The Intellitouch  PT-2  tuner uses two CR2032 coin size lithium batteries.  These
batteries are commonly found where button or coin cell batteries are sold.
1. Carefully insert a small, flat tool into one of the two slots at the top of the battery
door and gently push the tool until that side of the battery door comes partially
dislodged.  Do the same with the slot on the other side of the battery door.  The top of
the battery door will loosen from the tuner body, at which time you can lift the battery
door away from the tuner.
2. Rotate the tuner until the batteries fall out.
3. Place new batteries as is indicated below.
4. Carefully replace the battery door.
If you experience difficulty tuning your instrument, we suggest trying one or more of the
following:
8 Attach the tuner to a different place on the instrument.  Just as fingerboards have
“dead spots,” headstocks, scrolls and pegheads are made of wood and have them,
also.  If you attach the tuner to a different area, you may be able to avoid a natural
“dead spot” on your instrument.
8 Strike the string in a different place along the string length.
8 Strike the string directly on the location of a harmonic or “chime.”
8 Use a very soft touch to produce the note.  Sounding the note loudly produces noise

that obscures the fundamental pitch.  The lntellitouch  tuner is very sensitive, so strike
the string as softly  as you can.
