Passando dagli scantinati, per le serre, attraverso le finestre, o dalle uscite di servizio della servitù, questo qualcuno, alloggia trovando giaciglio su un largo e odoroso letto di fieno, ristorandosi a volontà e piacere con i rigeneranti cibi popolari delle provviste dispense di magazzino; confetture al limone, formaggio, latte, uova, bacon affumicato, pasticcio di fegato, rinfrescandosi la bocca e schiarendosi la gola con colazioni alcoliche in tazza, a base di brandy e torta di mele. Tolta così la sete e inzippito il ventre, con passo silente fugge alle prime luci dell'alba, dileguandosi insieme ad arruffati cani randagi dagli sguardi umani, tra i boschi ove la sua vision i compagni passeri non temon più. Lasciando come uniche tracce sul tavolo della cucina, i resti della suo desinare, piatti sporchi e posate incrostate. Voi chi state sospettando? Questo disco del 1971 con "Aqualung", "My God", "Locomotive breath", "Mother Goose", la chitarra acustica in ogni brano, il pianoforte (come nell'introduzione di "locomotive breath"), il flauto, la voce "gnosa", le entrate Hard improvvise, a "sorpresa", semplici e sentite, della chitarra elettrica del fedele "segugio" Lancelot Martin Barre; é sicuramente il più apprezzato dei Jethro Tull. Scritta a tratti anche la parte del piano e del flauto, del menestrello, barbone-miliardario Ian Anderson.
